As graphic design intern at TOE, I was responsible for redesigning the thumbnails and headlines of older episodes, and crafting a content strategy plan based on target audience analytics and search terms to improve the podcast's SEO on YouTube.
Through the development of new headline and thumbnail generation procedures, and integration of AI tools such as Midjourney and ChatGPT, I was able to increase efficiency by 25%, which allowed for the redesign of over 122 titles and thumbnails. The research driven SEO was successful, generating an 11% increase in viewership and 9% increase in subscriptions when compared to the previous semi-annual report.
After implementation of these new procedures, I assisted in mentoring future interns on the usage of Adobe Photoshop, AI tools, and best practices for thumbnail/headline generation through the use of video tutorials.
